I was given this book by my sister for my birthday. I must say that I love it and am going to purchase World War Z as soon as I can.
Anybody read it?

I got it about a year ago and it got my circle of friends to start drawing up plans and shit for if it really happened.

Lent it to one and forgot to grab it back before he moved though.

I've read it a couple times and have World War Z, I'm just too busy to read it now, but I will before the end of the month. Fucking awesome.

Read it. Than lent it to a friend and it "mysteriously disappeared".
Amazing book, going to have to start drawing up plans.

I've read it a couple of times, it's great each and every read through.
My friends and I also drew up anti-zombie plans.

I have it, it's good, and since working in a box factory is so boring, some days I'll spend hours planning out Zombie contingency plans.

Yeah, I "forgot" to give that book back to the person I borrowed it from. But, she didn't really like zombie movies anyway. But um that book actually helped me with a couple of my college assignments because I did alot of my work on the subject of zombies.

I was driving across town the other day and actually was looking at buildings and whether they would hold up in zombie attacks or not(unintentionally)

I was doing that on the way home today. Also figured out what I would do to my work car to make it good for zombie attacks.

Me and a couple friends have decided that in the instance of a somewhat large scale zombie outbreak, we're going to hold ourselves up in a Home Depot. The supplies there would allow us to build barricades and the Walmart across the street would give a food. We'd have to raid the Walmart early on though.

How many entrances does Home Dpeot have?! is it self-sustainable? How much food in wal-mart will last once the power goes out?

We planned to take over some empty land in a nowhere state and build a self-sufficient compound. We even got into leadership disputes and shit. It was eventually decided that everyone would eventually split ways (I thought this decision was fucking retarded, personally, even though it was obviously just a compromise).

Most of my zombie plans are unrealistic. Realistically, if I see zombies coming, I'd just be like "ah man, fuck this", and shoot myself.

sometimes I wish there would be like a level 2 outbreak near me because that would be awesome

Me too.
Did anyone else keep logs of shit that might mean zombies? I remember when the news had a story about a guy randomly dead in a ditch from a gunshot wound to the head, right near our school. We got all excited.

Not sure on the exact amount. The only ones that would have me worried are the customer entrances. Glass doors are a big no no. But thats where the in store supplies come in. Most of the others can be barricaded or even just closed with shutters. Walmart can sustain us for a good while so long as we recognize the threat early.

My friend and I decided that holding up in a nearby highschool and raiding the surrounding stores would be our best bet.

I decided to raid the sporting stores, then walmart for guns and ammo and food then see if I can't get some friends to hold up on a roof with me. Either a roof of this one dorm(about 10 stories up and the only entrance is a ladder or my old dorm which was probably and old mental hospital, there are about 3 heavy doors to get into the rooms.
