A few weekends ago, I found an iPod in the snow. Pink Nano, 4th (newest) gen, 16GB with video, in perfect shape and a soft case.

I made an effort trying to find the owner by looking up the iPod handle and searching FB/Twitter for lost iPod posts. No dice, and it's their dumb fault for losing it.

I already have a 3rd gen Nano that I'm happy with, so I don't really need this one. I figure I can get what, $140 for it? Is eBay or Craigslist a good route, or should I try selling it elsewhere? Is there anyway the serial would be registered to the owner and any attempts to sell would be wasted?

People sell stolen iPods all the time, lost/found/stolen, whatever. You should give it to me for good karma though. I broke mine. C'mon it's even pink.
