I just bought two weeks worth of cottage cheese to take before bed every night for slow-absorbing protein. All I've heard from anyone who eats this stuff is how horrible it tastes. Anyone here like it and have any suggestions on possible things to mix it with? I was thinking raisins or dried fruit.

I'm telling you, go with milk instead>_>
Well, I don't know nutrition stuff, it might be different.
All we use cottage cheese for is mixing it in with the dog food so that they get a little calcium, but I know that my mom likes the stuff, so I'll ask her tomorrow.

I like it. I just eat it plain. Though if I go to a buffet place I get it with my salad and it ends up getting french dressing and bacon bits in it and that is good too.

I never saw why people don't like it. Maybe the texture?
It just tastes like cheese to me.

Yeah, I tried it without anything in it and it tastes fine. The texture was weird, but that's easy to get over. Tastes even better with raisins, but that'll defeat the purpose if I make it a habit.
Put some honey in there, or strawberry jam.
