A waste of time, thats what it is. I guess its an easy for teams to scout some foreign talent from places like Cuba and Japan. I wouldnt want any of the starters from my favorite team playing in it.
It was really fun the first time around.
I liked it, and I suspect I still will.
Basically, the WBC is baseball Olympics if countries actually sent their best baseball players to play in the Olympics.
