It's really good, but I think I like Strawberry Jam more. I was mostly hoping for one or two tracks that would match For Reverend Green/Fireworks, but no luck. As an entire album though it's better.
In a way I feel like this is Panda Bear featuring the rest of AC :/

person pitch is better than anything besides strawberry jam.
I love Panda Bear and Person Pitch, don't get me wrong. I was just expecting something different. It's growing on me with each listen.
when i saw panda bear in miami he played some mpp songs (guys eyes, daily routine), but other than those it sounds like animal collective to me. also, summertime clothes/daily routine are better than any song on strawberry jam.
It's great. So many great songs. I think it's a much more consistent album then Strawberry Jams. I would be disappointed that they've thrown out some of the more...wildness of older songs if it wasn't just so damn good.

what the hell other kind of black metal bands are there then? if you're not "atmospheric" at the least, you are pretty much just a really shitty crust band. burzum is pretty much shoegaze.

i sure as hell didn't like person pitch the first time i listened to it. it's a headphones album for sure, i would never put it on around other people.
