I can't think of anything I thoroughly enjoyed this year. Arghoslent, Hail of Bullets and Vordr's albums all had a good song or two on them though

anyway...no particular order and i'll probably add to it later:
coldplay - viva la vida (never liked coldplay but i love this album)
vampire weekend - vampire weekend (duh)
ben folds - way to normal (mainly because 'you don't know me' is so fucking awesome)

And what's the obsession with Fleet Foxes? Blue Ridge Mountains is the type of song my grandmother would listen to. As for m83, the 80s are over. I will agree however that Crystal Castles had some good tunes on their album (minus the beat stealing controversy).
