(200) 200-0000 called me 4 times in 5 hours. What the hell? Anyone recognize the number? I don't think 200's even a valid area code...

Your sig looks strange centered like that. There's a ton of empty space on either side. Granted, it's the same amount of space that would be on the right if it wasn't centered, but it still looks strange.
I have no idea who called you. Try calling back?

Call back if it's bugging you, but I'm always really paranoid calling back numbers I don't recognize.

I've gotten calls from just 000-000-0000 before, but I never answered them, they were always missed calls.

Those are usually government numbers. My ex's dad worked at the nuclear test site and when he called it said 0000000000.

Decoy number, some companies use them to have people not call back.
Just ignore itl, they'd leave a message if it was really urgent.

it is not a valid area code... i had a boy friend who lived in london and when he called it showed his country code. now i just did some research on the net and it looks like your caller was from Czechoslovakia or now know as the Czech Republic.

It may not work with this or all numbers, but when that happens, try googling the unrecognized number from a missed call. I've done that before and found out who people are.
One time, I was receiving calls on my cell phone from some weird number in Atlanta, Georgia. They were calling at least 8-10 times a day, and it really sucked. When I googled the number, I found out that it belonged to a company that scams people and steals their identity if they fall for it. My phone number was not listed and I was on the do not call registry, so I dunno how they got it exactly. I had to change my number because they wouldn't stop calling. :/

Yeah, now that you mention it I remembered that it turns out that was from my friend's house, his dad used to be chief of police and is still pretty much running the police department in one of the suburbs around here, so they've got a number like that to avoid death threats and stuff.

These people from a big time realiting company call me a lot. They think I'm Carol. They leave me messages asking me about zoning plan B and how it's essential that I call them back. Next time they call I'm going to try and be Carol.
