http://www.transformersmovie.com/Yea. Neither the Barrel Roll nor the Pretzel comment made it in. What a load of crap imo. I was looking forward to hearing Prime say one of those.

Wait, they actually ran a contest to submit lines for Optimus Prime to say in the movie? Not too optimistic about this one, as if I needed any more reason to not care [thanks, Michael Bay].

with Michael Bay directing it I'm surprised anyone thought this was going to be good

Do a Barrel Roll would of been AWESOME.

Knew this would happen. That is the lamest contest ever.
I'm not going to see it now (well, I wasn't really before, due to Michael Bay being associated with it).

I knew "Do a Barrel Roll" wouldn't win, but did they have to pick that crap?

"Transform and roll out" should be in the fucking movie already. It better be in there. And yeah, lame contest. Then again, when I first heard Michael Bay's name mentioned, I was immediately worried. Then, I saw the pictures of how they'll look in the movie. Then, I saw Megatron wasn't a tank. I've pretty much already accepted this movie'll be a big disappointment.

Well, they probably already had that line in the script already, which is why they picked it to win above all others. But my biggest problem with this contest is, why were completely unoriginal lines allowed in the contest? 90% of the lines that were in there, Prime said in Generation 1. This one that they picked is Primes famous saying, that is printed on almost all the toy packaging that contains a Prime figure.
I wish they would have chosen "Do a barrel roll!" for the ones you could download off the site. As much as I would HATE for that line to be in the movie, it would still be funny to hear Peter Cullen do it in his Prime voice.
Now with Peter Cullen in mind, I REALLY hope they choose him for the voice of Ironhide in the movie. Because Ironhide's personality is almost identical to his G1 persona, and he has the same relationship with Prime. He needs that southern accent that we grew up with. He absolutely NEEDS it.
BTW, why is everything Michael Bay's fault? All he does is direct how the script is played, he didn't write the script, he didn't design the characters (Though I do think they all kick ASS!)
If you want to blame anybody, wait until the movie is out, and if it still sucks in your opinion, blame it on shitty writing. And blame Hasbro for allowing these character designs. They are the ones who approved them, because they are the ones making the toys.
I still have 100% hope that this movie will be completely awesome. I know some of you people who bash it will love it, just you watch!
EDIT: Damn... that was a long post o_O

Michael Bay made Armageddon. That is all I have to say.

Because directors have AT LEAST 95% control over the whole product. If you think otherwise you don't know shit about films. Bay doesn't have a good track record, and you are dumb as a nail if you think this is going to be a good film.

Well, we won't know how good or bad it will be until it is out. Hey, even I might think it will suck after seeing it. But I will wait until then. I do like the designs for the TFs.
BTW, the next teaser trailer comes out Dec. 22.
