No thats not what I mean, I mean will NEVER live up to the Watchmen graphic novel. To do it justice it would need an HBO miniseries, not 2 + hour movie. And the Batman thing was a joke since I remember one user here was complaining about the new reboot sucking since there wasn't enough toy placement in it for him. I think it was Aenima.

Also, even if you didn't like the film adaptation of 300, you have to admit that Zack Snyder kept it pretty close to the source material. I expect him to do the same for Watchmen.

I'm still hoping for the day when they finalize the deal to make an Atlas movie. It's in the works, but it's going to be awhile before it'll ever hit the big screen.
Malin Akerman is reason enough to see any movie.

Except for the fact that the source material for 300 was as brainless as the film adaptation. After seeing the trailer I'm even more skeptical what with all the slow mo fights and dramatic window falls. I just hope Snyder uses his brain over his dick when it comes to style over substance.

I think the trailer used up just about all the action bits they could to try and sell the movie to an audience. The fact that Snyder's cut of the film is about three and a half hours makes me believe he's doing his best to represent the source material.

Looked kind of lame to me, it was a preview when I saw dark Knight.
I'm sure it won't be anywhere as good as the book, but I don't think it looks half bad.
