So who's been donating, to any campaign? I've given $45.00 to Obama and a symbolic $5.00 to Elwyn Tinklenberg (MN-06) after Michele Bachmann's McCarthyist outburst on Hardball last night.
I haven't donated anything. Not because I don't want to, I just don't have enough money to give any of it to a rich Presidential candidate. The way I see it, my vote is more valuable to them than a donation is...after all, they ask fro donations so they can get more votes, right?

They need donations to sway voters. If you were already voting for Obama, your vote doesn't mean shit to them.

Either way I think they probably are both horrible liars. I doubt anything will get done at all (it never does). America isn't gonna be the superpower of the world anymore, I can see it happening already.
Yeah really. I can't understand why someone would be inspired by either Obama or McCain. They're both filthy liars that will do nothing but harm to this country once they're out of office. Big Business runs this country. The President is just a voice for them.
Anyone who thinks either of these two idiots will change this country for the good is a fucking idiot on so many levels.

Not all politicians are in the pocket of big business. I'm quite sure that many wealthy business owners (ex: Donald Trump), heavily disagree with Obama's plan to make them pay more taxes.

I would say that the majority of the people in line were black, and my town of Deptford, NJ is something like 85% white. Hopefully a good sign for national AA turnout. One of the pollworkers said that there were more people there at 6 AM than there were all day in 2004.

yeah i saw it written several places that if indiana isn't called for mccain fairly promptly it would be a good night for obama
what was weird was that earlier in the night indiana was close but obama was getting blown out in virginia. he only started leading in virginia late into the night because it took much longer for NoVa precincts to report than the rural southern areas. it was fun watching all the obama supporters freak out about the early virginia numbers though

I knew Indiana was going for Obama when he was ahead in the early counting and places like Lake County (pretty much Chicago suburbs...the ghe-tto.) and Tippecanoe county (Has Bloomington, IU's campus, a very vocal Democratic base.
