I'm still rooting for Portugal and lol Italy. But it ain't over yet.

I want Portugal because Ronaldo is my favorite player and he's a stud.

I normally root for Engalnd because I was born there, that and Bekcham and Rooney are pimps. But I can't beleive they didn't qualify.

Croatia did shock Germany, that was crazy.

I also do like Italy as well but I don't see them winning after a shocking loss to NEtherlands. Also their star defender Cannavaro is out from some ankle injury he incurred in the last week or so.

I have no family ties to any of the teams in this year, so I picked the Dutch, and looks like it's worked so far. We'll see how they fare against the French today.

And France is destroyed 4-1. Two of my friends coincidentally will be in Amsterdam tonight, and I'm fully confident that they will die in either a celebration mob or Hostel style.

Yeah, I've been rooting for Italy and the Netherlands but both Italy and France are pretty weak looking. Croatia has impressed and the Dutch could definitely pull this off. Spain and Portugal are looking good but Ronaldo is a faggot and I hope they get destroyed next round.

So it's the 85th minute in the Czech-Turkey game. 2-1 for the Czech. I thought the game was wrapped up so I switched channels for about 5 minutes. Then all of a sudden I miss one of the greatest comebacks in recent times. 3-2 Turkey.

This is non euro related but USA beat Barbados 8-0 yesterday for WOlrd CUp qualification.

I'm secretly rooting for NEtherlands too. Did anyone see the play by Ruud Van Nosteroy (Spelling?). There was a ball going out of bounds and he saved it with a sick play behind his back off his other foot....it's way to hard to explain...it was by midfield followed by Robben (fast mother fucker) sprinting down the pitch and making a cross.

Netherlands have some studs up front with Van Der Waart, Robben, Van Persie, and Van Noosteroy. Great futbol to watch.

Still some time left, but it's looking like Holland and Italy have survived the Group of Death.

Holland did more than survive, they dominated.

I'm glad to see Italy go on, they are entertaining to watch the way they play.

Portugal/Germany is going to be the biggest battle of the four I'd say, both have absolutely solid squads. Italy hasn't had their stuff together, didn't even think that during their win over France.

Fucking i knew Germany would win. Portugal was god awful on defending free kicks. Good effort though, great game.

Italy is playing like shit and are still beating teams, they'll get their shit together hopefully because when they are playing well they are fun to watch.

Turkey v Croatia should be sick. Russia's going to get whomped. Italy could beat Spain if they tried but they're like the fucking Mets; always playing at the level of the opposing team. Who knows what they'll do.

All three matches have been great games. Shame Holland couldn't survive though. Expecting another solid match tomorrow to end the quarterfinals.

Germany just didn't show up. Very enjoyable tournament though, and just over a month until the EPL returns.

A bit surprising. I almost lost some money.
The whole thing didn't go like I wanted it to at all but a lot of the games, like Turkey's, were really great soccer. The EPL sucks and its 2 more years until I can spend another whole month watching 2 games a day.

Yea that final match was pretty fucking boring, oh well...atleast SPain won.
