Anyone have any recommendations for good microvable food? The barracks I'm in right now only allows microwaves and there are no kitchens in here to actually cook. So I've been eating a lot of microwaveble shit. Basically its getting really fucking old and I want to try something different thats actually good and nutritious. So if anyone has any suggestions, I'd be willing to try them out.

"Good, Microwavable food" is generally an oxymoron. You can shot around for some gourmet, $7 frozen dinner at a fancy grocery store, but I don't know if that will cut it.

That being said, we don't even have a microwave at my house anymore. >_>

Hmmm....

Hot pockets are like... ok-ish.

Plus you can make scrambled eggs in the microwave and bacon and a few other things and they turn out fine.

I don't care what the box says, Ellio's Pizza in the microwave is delicious.

You're not gonna find good/nutritious and microwave in the same kinda thing. Buuut try for some canned soups even though they're way too high in sodium.

Marie Callendar's Pot pies FTW!

Lean Cusine's Chicken Carbonera is pretty damn amazing. Yeah all microwave dinners are really high in sodium but if you think about it, one of them is about 25-35% of your allowed daily intake. So really it's not that much if you only have one or two a day. But I wouldn't recommend doing that everyday. There has to be something to offset the sodium.
