Because they're not as good of a hockey team anymore, and the Tigers and Pistons are both competitive. The Pacers were huge here when Reggie still played, but now that they're not competitive it's Colts country and there's nary a Pacer fan around. America is a bandwagon nation.
Da Bears
Clown, are you from Pitt? I Know you're a steelers fan?

I have been trying to get into hockey (that and MLS) but it's hard to sometimes.

Yea this series coming up between philly and pitt should be awesome to watch, especially if you're from Pennsylvania. Hockey is awesome.

I'm from eastern Ohio. The town I lived in there was bordered on Pennsylvania and West Virginia...the border of the town was also the border to those two states. So I was in Pittsburgh's broadcasting market, and grew up watching the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. However for the NCAA I was in Ohio State's broadcasting market and not Pitt or Penn State's, so I root for the Buckeyes in college.

Seriously, fucking hockey rules. Wings are in the playoffs right now. We have a pretty strong team, might even go for the cup this year.

i think the problem is beyond that
we all hopped on the tigers the season they went to the series
we've been all over the pistons
but they cant even sell out conference finals seats with the best team theyve had in years going for another cup run
