There's a fiorefox addon called video download helper that adds a little icon next to your URL bar. You can just watch the video you want, click on it, and it will save it to your computer as a flash file. From there, there are millions of file converters that you can download and convert the files to whatever format you need. (Or you can just leave it as a flash file.)

i know you can go ahead and extract the flv and the audio and etc

but if its short why not just use any generic sound recorder with the input device as stereo mix?
