I don't care if it's fiction or non-ficiton, I want to read something that will make me go 'whoa'.
EDIT: No Kant or any of that other dry shit. Something at least remotely readable please.

Freakonomics won't blow your mind (well, it shouldn't) but it will at least make you give a grunt of recognition/bewilderment at some parts.

No, that book kind of sucks.
May I also suggest Inferno by Niven//Pournelle.

Read Hot Water Music by Charles Bukowski. It's pretty pimpin'. Bukowski is by far my favorite prose producer.
