We talked about this in philosophy today. It is really freaky when you think about it, so I just don't anymore.

because i exist. but how come i don't know that YOU'RE not?

Anyway, here's my opinion. I learned in Psychology that the people you see in dreams are all people you have seen in real life. I'd figure your mind wouldn't make more people in an awake state, seeing as how it doesn't even when its active while you're dreaming. If that makes sense.

Edit: High school psych, no less, so take this with a grain of salt.

Because if it was up to you, is it not true that you'd make us all female users, and have us post boobie pics?

He could be imagining one of his figments telling him they exist. Your statement, sadly, proves nothing. Even if we know we exist, doesn't mean he knows we exist.

Because if your brain was really all-knowing, you would know what's real and what isn't.

Would a figment of your imagination have an erection right now?


...Or maybe a figment of your imagination would say something like that just to make you doubt that maybe we are all, in fact, just a part of your brain.

All I know is that whenever I look at the topic title the next words in my mind are in a world that's constantly changing....
