The show is utterly abysmal, and it can be really painful watching the girls suck at everything but being beautiful (like, say, reading), but it's worth it to watch my nerdy brethren goof around on national TV. Jim, who I actually haven't spoken to in years (we were friends from when I was about 5-10), appears to be having the time of his life. He's ALWAYS been really nerdy; I can remember him telling me that he installed a new motherboard on his computer when he was like 8 or 9. He's a CS student at Cornell now, and smokes pot, which I think is amazing. I'm a little hesitant to smoke with him, though, because I get the impression I won't understand a damn thing he says.

I like the show, personally. But I like most shitty reality TV woot woot represent. However, I dont like the idea of Beauties vs. Geeks.


why are so many geek contestants from Beauty and the Geek? Something in the water, I suppose?
