Enders Game
Fahrenheit 451
Gardens of the Moon by Steven Erikson(The Malazan Book of the Fallen)
I guess I was in the strangest mood in Barnes and Nobles today with a 50$ giftcard. I haven't read any of these but i've heard great things about them all.

I really liked Ender's Game. The spinoff series about Bean (one of the characters) also started off really strong, but kind of fizzled out in my opinion. The later ones in the Ender series were way more philosophical (meaning Card's own philosophy), and kind of boring. I may revisit them sometime though just because I liked Ender's Game so much.
I was really disappointed by Fahrenheit 451, but I have kind of picky taste when it comes to style. Bradbury has written a lot of stuff that I liked, but that wasn't it. I liked the story and concept, but the book sucked nards in my opinion. Then again, I read it in like ninth grade, and my appreciation for literature has very slightly grown in that time. I don't read anymore, though...
I tried to get into Malazan way back a little bit after AFFC came out and the unofficial ASoIaF board at GFAQs became the ASoIaF/Malazan board. Most people there seem to like it as much more more than ASoIaF (fuck writing that shit so many times), but I couldn't get sucked into it. I did start it at the time when my interest in reading was dying, though, and people say that the first one is wayyyyyyy worse than the others.
I had two twenty dollar gift cards to Borders recently and bought a big old encyclopedia on mythology and a Poe collection for like $26 together, but haven't read much of either. I don't know why I can't read anymore.
