The only part worth watching was the 4th quarter, which was great. The first three were crap. One quarter of awesome play does not a great Super Bowl make.

See, this is what sucks with footballs fans now days, they can't appreciate good defenses it seems.

How can you say the first three quarters sucked? This years pats had the best/most explosive offense ever in the history of football. Their QB broke records, their WR broke records (although I still consider Jerry Rice's TD record better because he did it in only 12 games thanks to the strike, sorry Moss), the offense as a whole broke scoring records.....and they were shut down to 80 yards in the first half and only 7 points...

That's fucking incredible defense. The pressure they were able to put on Brady was amazing to watch. Just a few weeks back Brady was thought to be unstoppable because he went 26/28 against the Chargers....all year he's been fucking lounging in the pocket with no pressure on him. Brady had only been sacked I think 20 or 21 times all year, the giants managed to sack him 5 times and had countless hits on him as he was throwing the ball away...

It was nice to see a defensive front light up the Pats O-Line.

Plus it's not like the teams were going 3 and outs the entire game. Both teams drove the ball down the field a lot, but would get stopped just outside of field goal range or fumble/throw a pick etc...

I guess I think games are exciting when they are close, not on how much a team scores.

I'll say the first three quarters sucked because I thought they sucked, thank you.

The defense was great but I don't find that very fun to watch. Same reason why I'm not a big fan of SEC football. The point of football is to score points, and if nobody's scoring, you're tapping your fingers waiting for it. Both teams played well on defense and with how fast players are in the NFL, sometimes that ends up being a snoozefest of miscues.

Considering I'm not a "kiddo," no.

I'm a Pac-10 fan and that's always been a very high-scoring league. It's the style I've always grown up on.
