I just watched it using the topic in this forum's sub-forum. This is actually a really damn good movie.

Didn't like the first.

Yeah gotta say I like it better than the first.

I thought the first was pretty crappy, actually. It had it's moments, but as a film it blew. This one had character development and a real story and that context makes humor better. Movies need context.

I actually like the animated series better than both movies. Both all 3 are awesome.

I watched it from the sub forum also. I really liked it. It's refreshing to watch a movie that is just...small and simple and not grandiose.

The part with pillow pants just made me lose it.

Elias made me think of Kefka.

I liked it, but not as much as the first.

I loved it. Seeing the PORCH MONKEY 4 LIFE on Randall's back was a great touch.

I think the best part is about the Ass to Mouth. Just genius.

Way better than the first. Funniest movie I've seen in a long time.

The King Diamond part was awesome.

It's my favorite movie of the year with Children of Men and the Fountain

I thought it was a decent adult comedy. All the indie kids I was with the other night said Kevin Smith was "a pretentious little fuck who ought to be castrated" because they were just that indie. Fucking faggots.

I didn't really like it that much. The only good part was the donkey sex.

I enjoyed it, not as much as the first. I don't know, I for one didn't think the pillow pants bit was all that funny. Like, dick jokes weren't why I saw the movie, I don't know.

How could you not know dick jokes were going to be there, this is Kevin Smith.

Yeah, really. The 37 dicks line was the best part of Clerks I. Every one of his movies has dick humor in it.

Yeah, but that seemed so much more legitimate than the slapstick crap with Elias. I don't know, I mean, I liked the movie, but that shit just wasn't funny.

I thought Elias was hilarious. The perfect character to add to the series.

I just d/l it tonight. I'll be checking it out soon. I enjoyed the original but not tons. I think I will really enjoy this one though for some reason.

The best two lines were:

"I had to wait on some guy I gave head to after junior prom."
"Yeah, I've waited on your brother too."


and definitely

"Oooh, cake."

I like the whole LOTR bit. My brother and I have been saying that for years.

I'll say it was a damn good movie. By the trailers I thought Smith would go over the top like Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (yet again, Dogma kicked ass), yet he stayed pretty true. Is it better than the first? I don't know, I'd say they are about equal.

Also, Jeff Anderson is a great actor. He might not want to admit it, but he is.
