HP sells the part for $85, before shipping. YIKES!

If that link doesn't work, it's the 394298-001 HP/COMPAQ V2000 L2000 Heat sink/fan assembly that I need...

Didn't look for your part, but try amazon.
Ultra Magnus
well, amazon.com had it, currently unavailable though... But that doesn't matter, amazon.com doesn't ship to Canada, and amazon.ca doesn't carry stuff like this sad.gif

Thanks though. And thanks to anybody else who tries to help, lol

Why not ebay? It seems pretty cheap on there :/

I just want to be absolutely sure the part works, thats all. Finding the part on ebay is most of the time just a part salvaged from a computer which broke in some other way, so no guarantee on the life of the part.

but if the ebayer guarantees the part to work, and it doesnt, then u can ask for a refund. if it doesnt cost too much, get the buyer protection, so if he does dick u over, u can still get your $$$ back
