18 With a Bullet

I live on a very busy intersection corner, where at least once a month a car crash happens. Usually nothing bad, until today.
A witness said that the kid I knew was pushing his speed to get through a yellow light, and a range rover was turning and barely tapped his car (the range rover wasn't damaged at all) but he was going so fast that he spun out of control and totalled his car on the light pole.
My mom (who is a registered nurse) was the first one out there because we live on the corner, and he was bleeding like a motherfucker and hardly breathing. She gets him breathing better and stops the blood until paramedics get there and they take over.
It's an hour later, and I walk out to go to class, but the whole corner/streets are closed off. I ask some guy who's standing outside why, and he said the cops said there was a fatality on the corner.
This is the 2nd time in 3 months that someone I went to school with died in a car accident.
I know it's a lot to ask, but I'd appreciate not having asshole comments in this topic.

Shit happens. It's life.
At least it wasn't a good friend or something.

Sucks man.
I had a good friend die like that. He was a passenger and his best friend crashed the car.

Ahh, that must be pretty traumatizing. I was thinking about it and the time it takes between one light switching to red and another going green is too short. Especially in wintry months like these.

yeah, it's pretty creepy. sad that him being a moronic driver lead to his own death. it happens a lot. a 15 year old girl was killed in my neighbourhood because she wasn't wearing a seatbelt, and the fucker in the driver's seat was doing about 30 over, rolled his mom's SUV, and ended up killing his friend.
It's even worse when you know the person. I've experienced, more or less, the same situation as TC.

Yeah, I have a lot of friends that have died.
You really grow colder with each passing.
