i have very limited equipment:

-small bench about 18" off the ground
-curling bar, 10 or 15lbs
-2x 25's (50)
-4x 2.5's (10)
-4x 7.5's (30)
2 small dumbell bars.

so yeah, not a lot to work with.

I have shoulders, pecks, and arms covered, but what can i do for the back (all regions)? I've always been weak for exercises for the back, because the only real thing i know how to do with freeweights are shrugs. What do _you_ guys do for back? (Don't direct me to any sites or links unless they are of specific exercises). thanks.

Deadlifts are the best back exercise, but you need a decent amount of weight for them, and I don't really understand what you have from what you said.

Pullups are a good one for the lats (more so with a wider grip, but too wide is possibly bad for the shoulders). Weighted pullups, preferably.

Bent-over barbell rows are also bitchin'.

Shruggage. There are tons of variations of tons of shit for the back. It's a huge muscle group that's easy to hit. Are you doing legwork at all? Tummy and sides? Do you have a routine?

Yep.

Get a 1.5" barbell that will fit your plates and some clips. Should be able to get it all for about $20.

yes, no, somewhat. constantly changing, trying to develop routine. and i work with what i have and know, which is very little.

The core is a very rad place to be strong. And routines made by professionals are almost certainly going to do more for you than wingin' it with no little or no lifting experience and knowledge.

Of course I also don't do routines, but someday I will have some time and I will start to eat right and work out right instead of just occasionally doing some pushups or Hindu squats.

My shruggage, by the way, was me shrugging, not recommending it. It's an okay exercise, but eh.
