I'm currently running 32-bit Vista like a charm, and was wondering whether I should look into the 64-bit version of it. Are there any real advantages for a gamer such as myself, or would it just be a waste of time?

waste of time. so few games even take advantage of dx10 instruction sets that it makes little sense to upgrade from xp in the first place. xp is still the best bet for gaming performance, and with sp3 it will only get better. vista is a lost cause. it's the windows me of the new generation.

Too bad that all new hardware/software is made for Vista. 64-bit is very fast and has a lot of driver support, pretty much anything before 2002 might not work, like Diablo II on 64-bit, but everything else will and has for me. It runs and looks better than my 32-bit XP, and Vista has a lot of features that are better than XP. This isn't a fucking OS War so fuck off.
