My favorite part of this whole topic is the degradation from politics to intelligence and then the best part - standardized test scores. Uh huh! i am too smart! lookit my scores! Fucking ridiculous. Usurper just trolls and backpedals to get a rise out of people and he doesn't limit it to the Lounge. But it's okay because he's not really backpedaling if he was just joking the whole time.

Well because youre method of debate is indicative of intelligence on these matters. When you can't even name the leaders of the place, result to using every logical fallacy in the book, and use comic books as supporting evidence, then claim it was all a joke later, you kind of look like a back peddling retard and at the very least completely immature.

Like I said, I can put aside my bullshit for this board, the least he could do is the same. Not knowing anything about middle east affairs isn't shameful or anything.

The most important leaders in the Middle East right now are Pervez Musharraf and Mahmoud Ahmedinejad.

To take the topic seriously, invading Iran is absolutely idiotic. We half less cause for doing it than we did for invading Iraq, and it would be a conflict we can by no means afford. Even taken with skepticism, recent reports about the halt of nuclear weapons development in 2003 means it's a no-go for Bush.

Too many voices are comparing the diplomacy used against Ahmadinejad's Iran trying to acquire nukes, with Chamberlain's conciliative approach right before WWII. And Ahmadinejad has got none of Hitler's finesse, none of his lying.

Is this actually the wrong way to go? Should the US, Europe, and other Western forces do something before it's too late?

No.
