Listened to Jay's new shit yesterday, not really sure how I feel about the album as a whole. I liked all of the songs (except Blue Magic - fuck Pharrel) and as much as I've hated on him in the past, Weezy was amazing on Brooklyn 2.0. I can't recall which track it is but the one where Jay talks about the movement to censor hip-hop is a great song too.
My only problem with the album is that it doesn't really seem much like a concept album. It sort of starts off that way but once it gets up to Roc Boys it seems like the theme it thrown out the window. Maybe I need to listen again.

I thought Jay-Z retired or something?
I'm going to see Jay-Z at a club on Friday. I'm excited as shit. Tickets sold out in like 11 seconds.

Tickets to see him at the Filmore here in Philly sold out in like 30 seconds. There's some on ticket master but I'm not that big a Jay fan to shell out two hundred bucks.

This album is really growing on me. More for the beats + flow less for the lyrics.

I wanna find the instrumental for Hello Brooklyn and use it as my ringtone. I'm just in love with that song.
