Alright, so I bought one of those Nintendo thumb drives that let you use Wi-Fi on the DS and Wii when you don't have a router. The problem is, when I try to install the software, it asks me to insert the thumb-drive, even though the drive is already in the USB port. It's not a problem with my port, as I've tried other ones and none of them work. On top of that, I've plugged other devixes into the same port and they all worked fine. I'm using the latest version of the software, and I've tried turning my firewall off and such.
Any suggestions? I really wanna get online with my Wii.

You're supposed to install the software THEN plug it in.
Erase all drivers and programs you have for it now and reinstall.
Please refer to the big black box on page 2 of the instruction manual.

I did, that's why it's so frustrating. I did install it and then plug it in...it tells you to plug the drive in partially through the installation process. Regardless, I'll try your advice...how do I get to the drivers?

Alright...well, after some tinkering, I fixed that problem. Now, however, I have a new one, and it just says at the end that I am not connected to the Internet. But clearly I am, as you all can see. And before you ask, yes, I have broadband.

Uninstall the software. Go into you local area connection properties and select QoS Packet Scheduler, uninstall this. Reinstall the software. Go back into your local area connection properties, click install, service, add, QoS Packet Scheduler, then OK.
Edit: Any luck?
