DC++ chat
I myself would suggest using DC++ as a client, although there are other ones available.
We no longer require registration.
You also have to have a client based on DC++ version .401 or later unless you have a mac or are on linux. These clients have hashing which is worth the tiny download.
To set up DC++ to use the hub, go to Favorites. Click "New". A window will pop up. Fill in the name field with 404 Error, and the address field with 404hub.no-ip.com.
In the same window, under Identification, fill in "Nickname" with your nick that you want. Leave description and password blank.
Click "OK". Now the hub should appear in your favorites. Double click on it to join.

Rules:
1. Share. File -> Settings -> Sharing -> Add Folder.
2. Absolutely no fake sharing. This includes sharing system, temp files, and installed files.
3. No kiddie porn, beastiality, or snuff. You know better.
4. Be courteous. Treat others how you would like to be treated.
5. Don't flood, scroll, or spam.
6. We have a search, so use it!
7. Your DC client MUST be at least 0.401!

Soulseek

If you don't know what Soulseek is, it's a Peer to Peer filesharing program, similar to DC++. You can get it here. I have taken the liberty of starting a room on Soulseek for us 404 error users, so we can all access eachothers files easily and stuff. If you have Soulseek, here's how you can join.
Lower right hand corner of the screen, there is a list of chatrooms. Right click it and hit "Create Room." Type in Errors, and you will join. You can make it so it automatically starts when you log on to Soulseek by right clicking anywhere in the chat room and clicking Toggle Room Autojoin.
