Gurren Lagann, best series in existance?



The last episode was amazing, but I didn't like the ending. I didn't like Nia dying and them doing nothing to save her, nor Simon doing the GARlock bit.

Still, best show ever.

I thought the ending was good, myself.

And the whole Garlock thing was entirely AU - we just got something different. Simon was still pretty cool.

Overall, amazing end fight and end episode to an amazing series.

OST is great too.

Loved that show, although Nia's death was absolutely pointless. I pretty much it was going to happen, so it didn't have any emotional impact at all. In fact, Nia's whole existence was unnecessary. I say Simon should have gotten to tap Yoko's ass.

Nia really did feel like she was only there as a plot device, nothing more.

Yeah, the entire plot.

Nia is the Maryest fucking Sue ever. I can't even watch her because my mary sue sense fucking burns my retinas away.
