I've heard it gives pretty amazing results while you take it, even though you lose most of it after you stop. I'm loading up right now, took a few before pictures, gonna post them once I have some during pics to compare with. Heh, just yesterday I was smoking at my buddies house and I was so high I could feel the water rushing into my muscles and bulking them up. No visible results yet, guess I just have to keep drinking. So anyone have any experiences with this? What'd you think?

It's in meat.

Works well. Make sure to drink a ton of water.
I've been drinking like 6 liters a day and I'm still pissing like normal so I guess it must be going somewhere.

so in other words, it just adds waterweight to your muscles?
i've considered taking this shit, but i don't really know what it is/waht it does/how it works.

^That's pretty much it. While you're on it, you'll be bigger, and able to work out harder. Your strength gains will remain when you stop taking it, but you'll drop some weight.

Yeah I feel stronger already, I did 9 handstand pushups earlier, and when I started I was only able to do 5. Look a little bigger but I'm not going to see as much size gain as most because I have a smaller frame to start with.

QUOTE(wikipedia)
Creatine is nitrogenous organic acid which naturally occurs in vertebrates and helps to supply energy to muscle and nerve cells. Creatine was identified in 1832 when Michel Eugène Chevreul discovered it as a component of skeletal muscle which he later named creatine after the Greek word for flesh, Kreas.
It does add water as well, but you gain strength aside from that too.

Any strength gains are psychosomatics. It
may slightly increase your anaerobic endurance

So it's all in my mind? I don't know man, I gained almost an inch on my forearms since I made this topic.

I've heard a lot to indicate that creatine is the real deal, and nothing to ever indicate that it's a placebo.

It is real in that it will make your muscles bigger via increased water retention and cause weight gain from the same. It might slightly increase your anaerobic endurance but it will not increase your ability to generate power.
QUOTE
During muscle contraction, ATP (adenosine tri phosphate) loses a phosphate molecule to create energy and gets converted to adenosine di phosphate (ADP). Now in order to produce more energy ADP must be converted back to ATP. Now when ATP is depleted, creatine acts as a source of phosphate and converts the ADP molecule to ATP molecule. The more creatine is availaible to the body, the more faster body can produce ATP molecules, so that more and more energy is availaible for the muscle contractions. This is how creatine acts as a great energy source for short bursts of exercise such as sprinting, bodybuilding and other athletic activities.
It should also be noted that creatine is both created in your body and in the bodies of any meat you consume and that there is a practical limit to the amount that can be stored.

Creatine is pretty good. Just don't stay on for too long.
I used to take BSN's NO Explode....the first 4 weeks of this supplement where the greatest weeks of lifting. I know Null always says it doesn't add power, well it added something to me. I added a good 30 pounds to my max bench, and was benching over 40 pounds of my body weight. IT was a energy rush while I was lifting....
But after those 4 weeks I became immune to the effects. I even took like 4 months off and when I tried to get back on, it still didn't work as well...basically what I'm trying to say is don't stay on it too long.

I think it's just the caffeine.
I'm thinking of taking protein whey instead of creatine since it seems more natural and I haven't heard anything bad about it.

They're both natural and they both do different things.

I've heard Creatine puts water into your muscles which could make you push harder.
It gives that extra edge so you can push harder and build muscle faster. That's just what I heard though.

That's exactly what it does, and how it works. With all of the focus needed to do heavy lifting, it's actually insulting to professionals to declare creatine some sort of placebo.

Uhh. The water is just (usually positive) side effect. It doesn't do anything.
And longer. Not harder.

Placebos have very real effects on people, even when you're deadlifting 800lbs.
