Yes, YOU. For the last month or so, the boards look like a bunch of angst-filled young adults governed by moderators who use this as an outlet for their need to be in control. Every popular topic I've stumbled upon turns into heated debate. The only way to get a good topic going is to be controversial, or say something borderline offensive with regards to religion, politics, or YOUR personal opinions.
So...what keeps you here? I'm certainly going to take a break before I hurt your feelings again.

Sweet. I've had more than my share of personal messages telling me out fucked up I am.
And I'm glad I can entertain someone else.

Nah it's much more than that. I'd say the biggest reason is our userbase plummeted and a lot of vets left.

I never really took issue with Usurper, either.
I post here because a bunch of the users I like still do. I also want to make sure that those people come to Summer Camp 08. These people include, but are not limited to, Morm, Legendary, Nickolay, Feernie, Joff, and Kefka. I'll also be nagging other users that don't post anymore, like Zero. Those people alone will more than double the size of the group that went this year, and it will be amazing.

I kinda just browse the lounge and end up closing it, then look around on the music board a bit... then maybe hit up the sex/drugs boards but I get bored within a minute.
I don't think you actually hurt anyone's feelings, it's just your pompous/self-righteous/holier-than-thou attitude that's annoying as all hell. It seems to me like all you set out to do is antagonize people and rather than actually offending anyone you just amuse a select few and annoy the rest. With a neutral section, I'm sure. I'd rather have slow boards with okay topics than a fast moving board with nothing but annoying trolls. :/ I'd go to LL if I wanted that.

It's not exactly individual people that I'm missing, it's the collective whole of quality posters and knowing that there would be a good amount of real discussion in most topics I jumped into.
I also really wish we had an archive of all of the old posts dating all the way back to the beginning, all of those hackings/switching host sites sucked. 404 was such a huge resource for learning about computers and the internet for me, I wish there was still a record of that I could go back through and read for kicks.
