Really, how fucking stupid can you be to swing the remote so damn hard that the strap breaks and the wiimote burns a hole in something as it flies through it.

That's why I've captioned this:

I laughed.

I looked at your sig and laughed twice as hard. I love sup cat.
Brent Black
Who's even swinging their wiimote that hard? You can play the thing sitting down on the couch with a beer in the other hand, I just don't see any reason for all the aggression. tongue.gif

Sup cat *is* going to bring an end to spacetime as we know it.

I love his face! Too cute!

Good play on words, sig is awesome too. I don't know if I like "Sup" or "Sup Niggs" better though.

Sup cat is just too fucking casual. I can imagine him adjusting himself on the catch for 10 seconds or so until he manages to get his elbow resting on the top, then looking up and saying "Sup?"

That cat kicks ass.

Actually, it's quite obvious how it happens. Penny Arcade was nice enough to explain:

Some people are just dumb, or get way too sweaty playing games.
Kele
Yeah, that's pretty dumb. My whole family was playing Sports and acting out all the motions (bowling and boxing mainly) and the strap wasn't worn 100% of the time and we never got close to having a problem. If it slips out, you shouldn't have the Wii.

Didn't imagine some people might actually need these until I read the stories. Seriously, how the hell do you get so into it that you throw the Wiimote with enough force to break a TV?
ErrorDante
I could see it slipping easy, and the strap is pretty fucking small where it actually hooks onto the remote. Some of my family got into the games fucking hardcore and there were no problems at all. But I could see it being an issue if you get into the games. Especially sports titles as they are easy to fall into and really start swinging that bad boy.

I dont think it will ever be an issue for me, but as small as the part is that actually hooks the strap onto the remote I could see it breaking.

I almost broke my friends hand last week when we were playing wii tennis albeit a little inebriated. We got really into it and then after I swing to hit the ball and I hear OH FUCK. I guess I swung my wiimote into his hand. Then he cried and it was kinda funny.
ZeroX
My former roommate claims to have been playing Wii Bowling and after his throw, he lost his grip on the remote, the strap broke and it hit the ceiling.

He's an angry guy. And a commie.
