Full Version: Screen Resolution problem
404 Daily: File Found > Popular Culture > Technical Discussion > Computer Support
The President
I don't know how it happened, but my screen somehow changed its resolution, and it won't allow me to get back to my old one. And its pissing me off, because the fonts are all hard to read and everything just sucks in general.

From 1360 by 768 right to 1600 by 900. Isn't there supposed to be a something in the middle?

And if someone could use this to the support forum that would be cool.
The President
After finding a screencap I did a couple of months ago and it said my resolution was 1440 by 900.

WHY THE FUCK CAN'T I DO THAT ANYMORE
Akuma
Is it the same monitor as before?

If so, perhaps it's a driver issue?
The President
Ok, after restarting my computer for around the 10th time, my screen resolution can now only go up to 1440 by 900. All the gigantic resolutions I was able to get to are now gone.

So fuck my monitor.
Master Bob
try reinstalling drivers .. .
Jeff
Assuming you are using Windows XP(May work in Vista?):
Just go to Display Settings -> Settings -> Advanced -> Monitor, and uncheck hide resolutions my monitor doesn't support or whatever. Then just set your monitor to one of those resolutions and see if it works.
The President
I did that, and I also did the new drivers thing. But they didn't do shit.

It just magically fixed itself, I swear.
