Greetings 404daily, I have a project in which I need to write a report on an advertisement and its merits/dismerits and why it worked/didn't work.

Anyone know of any good advertisements that I could use? The only requirement is that it must be an advertisement legal to use in the US (so no smoking advertisments)

I was thinking of using the hideously annoying Zap the Mosquito one, or perhaps the "Helloooo!" smiley banner.

That's exactly what I thought of and was going to suggest before I scrolled down and saw that Tizzer here had posted it first. Also, has anyone seen the newer commercials for it? They look normal with that lady saying "head on, apply directly to the forehead," etc., and then this person pops up and is like "HEAD ON, APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD! HEADON APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD BLAH BLAH BLAH I HATE YOUR COMMERCIAL. But I LOVE your product!"

Those fucking commercials make me so angry. I heard the product itself doesn't even work. At all.

Haha yeah, my favorite is the one with the black guy coming on and saying it.

As lng as he's not following you or stealing your TV.

They don't play those kind of commercials here in Canada. If you want to go with dismerits, then do something about how the fat man with a slim yet somewhat average wife have been way overdone.

do it on how the ciggerette companies use modles with unlit cigs in their mouths and air brush in the smoke. its quite interesting on how they get away with some stuff. and what they do rope in the younger "potential targets".

Do it on that truth commercial where the guy dressed as a cowboy sucks at singing.

I mean jesus, if your voice is that terrible gtfo tv.
