Mishima's biography.
Circa Mojave
Invisible Monsters, Chuck Palahniuk
The Batman
The Sleeper Awakes by H.G. Wells
The Batman
Lolita, by Vladimir Nabokov

Exceptional book. I'm much more into this then anything else I've read in the past couple months...which kinda creeps me out considering the subject...
Joff
Finished Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep last week. About to finish A Scanner Darkly, and I'm starting on No Country for Old Men.
Gary
Elmer Gantry. Don't know if it's any good, but it was sitting around my apartment so I started to read it.
Joff
Finished No Country, liked it better than the movie.

Read a heap of Dick short stories on the train to Chicago. A few of them were good. A lot of them not so much.
Gary
I'm reading I Am Legend. I didn't know the story was about vampires. ohmy.gif
The Batman
I'm reading On the Road by Jack Kerouac. It's weird. I love the idea of hitchhiking so much that I'll probably do it myself...but Jesus, I can't get into this book. I think it's the way it's written. All beatnik-like and stuff.
Joff
Reading a biography on Dr Gonzo. Basically all stories from other people about the guy.
Svyatogornyj
Just read The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, and then I'm going to read How Soccer Explains The World after I'm done with Honey For The Bears by Burgess.
Dagger Jane
I started The Princess Bride yesterday. I probably won't finish it before the end of the year because I'm so distracted by the 360.
The Batman
Now reading Island by Aldous Huxley

Good so far
Svyatogornyj
Reading Austen's Persuasion now.
lob
sartre's the flies

s'not bad
The Batman
Now reading Watership Down by Richard Adams

Just started it, so I don't know if I'll like it or not. Anyone read it before?
Svyatogornyj
Red Azalea by Anchee Min
YoungWhipperSnapper
Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose

I'm loving the book so far. After I'm finished I'll watch the mini-series when I have time and perhaps buy Medal of Honor.
Brent Black
Tales From the moe.Republic - John Derhak

Just finished Cormac McCarthy's No Country for Old Men. Quick read, good book, although his style is kind of irritating. It's like he has an unhealthy fear of punctuation.
Svyatogornyj
Just got Julian Cope's Japrocksampler in the mail which I am fucking excited to read.
