I can give better details later but it's probably only like 5 years old or something. It's an HP laptop power cord that kinda looks like a usual power cord in anything of technology, pretty much. Anyway, I was just wondering where someone could find just a power cord. Old one's worn out/broken.

By power cord, do you mean just a simple cable (like the one that plugs into a PC) which connects the wall plug to the ac adapter? Like one of these:

What kind of HP laptop?

Do you need the whole cable or just a part (ie the one Xaeser linked to)?

I'm not sure, I could give a better idea if I had the laptop with me but it's somewhere else. I remember it has the basic plug like how you linked, but there's also one of those big black boxes as part of the cord. I can't remember if it plugs into the box or if the box is just part that has to be there. If it plugs into it, that'd work... Either way radio shack would probably work.
