Just get a reverse osmosis machine? Or at least a brita pitcher? We spend so much on bottled water in this country its insane...it shouldn't even be a market, yet is booming like none other.

I know that. But anyone can tell you that spending a few dollars at one time is easier than spending 20 at once when you have no money. Sure, you spend another few dollars next time, and it adds up over time, but if I were to save up 20 dollars, I would have no water while saving, and I like water.

That whole 'but you're wasting money overall' argument can be applied to a lot of shit. I personally feel that it should be deleted from life, because it's always the same thing. You're wasting money, but you don't stop, and that's the end of that.

Usually I'll just fill a Nalgene or a bicycle water bottle with water if I'm going to need water somewhere. If I don't think of it then I'll usually go with some generic brand, because usually they taste better to me.

Like, I know Aquafina is supposedly nothing but water or whatever, but that stuff tastes awful. It's like I'm drinking the plastic bottle or something.

Bottled Water is one of the biggest con jobs ever.

You don't lug around the Brita filter silly, you buy a waterbottle (or reuse a Dasani/Aquafina/Whatever bottle) and fill it up.

Bottled water is one of life's biggest mysteries to me.
