Ok, so i have 2x SATA drives in my pc. A 160gb and a 500gb. Currently my pc is booting from the 500gb ( i just put the 160gb back in) and i cant figure out how to boot form the 160gb so i can wipe out the 500 and use it only for storage. I've tried changing it in the bios menu but i couldn't figure out how to change the hard drive that it boots form initially. It shows each drive on its own channel as Master. cry.gif

There should be a boot order option somewhere in the BIOS; play around with it.

Of course, the 160GB drive will have to actually be bootable--i.e., you'll have to have previously installed some OS on it.

i figured it out, i couldnt find the priority boot before. Yeah the 160gb was my old drive that still had XP on it (granted it had to be reformatted due to the windows key not working). Good thing i had seperate partitions for my OS and storage
