to change the life of a perfect stranger, what would you do?
You may have heard about the concept of paying it forward -- the idea of doing something meaningful to help someone else without asking for anything in return. So, if you were given $1,000 with the understanding that it had to be used to help others, how would you use the money and why?

I would find a bum on the streets who just looks like he hit a run of bad luck rather than drug or alcohol abuse and give it to him.

I'd buy a cheap pistol and kill someone. Life changed. Rest of the money=mine.

$1000 isn't enough to do anything real life-changing. I'd probably just send some handicapped kids on a field trip to the Playboy Mansion.
Oh, and DR is pretty much a stranger to me so maybe I'd get him a hooker if I had some money left.

In my time at college - VIth form college - I've known two people who've had to drop out of it through no fault of their academic ability (or lack thereof); but because of their personal situation. Neither of them I know especially well, but I know enough. I'd give it to them, on the understanding that they'd continue on to get another bunch of As at A-Level, and go forward to being a far, far, far more productive member of society at university.

No, better idea would be to buy something cheaper like a baseball bat. And leave them inches from death, so they still have a life, and thus it is changed.

I would become estranged from myself so I could use it to help the life of my estranged self.
Edit: and I'd use it to get a breast reduction or a tattoo.

I'd find a kid from a single parent family who is trying to go to college, and pay for part of his dorm room or something.
