My friend is having a birthday party and requested that people dress "classy" and drink "classy" drinks, as if it were a semi-casual event. Firstly, I don't drink liquor. I'm a beer man, but that's besides the point. I don't plan on playing into the BS, but I was talking to a buddy today, and we thought it'd be funny if I completely overdid it and showed up in a full suit (with pink shirt, of course). I own a suit, but would probably just buy a really tacky used one for cheap, at the salvation army. I think it'd be hilarious, but get old after about an hour.
Should I not even bother doing this for what is essentially just another house party?
