I was wondering...when someone makes a new account, do you (meaning the moderators) have to approve the person first? And if so, what do you do? Just click yes or no after deciding whether they are a real person? Or do you check IP addresses and all sorts of secrety spy shit? Cuz I feel like it is very possible that my mom will start up an account as a lurker if she finds this place (she knows of it and may search for it at any time) and I really don't want her to.

Is there anything on this board you can't do when you're not signed in?

Yeah. You can't access the lounge and the sexuality/erotica board. Others may be blocked off as well, but I only know those two for sure.

At least...they were inaccessible the last time I was signed out, which was a long fucking time ago since I keep my password saved in this bitch.

EDIT: the lounge is accessible afterall. But there are a few that aren't.

Hope so since I am afraid I don't know what they do to decide, sorry!

There's only so much we can do. If there's something specific like a username or email address she'd likely register with, we can keep an eye out for it. But in general, there's a handful of email domains that are generally kicked out without a second thought and the rest are typically validated. (Or at least that's how I handle them.)

Okay. That's what I thought, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask how you go about it. Thanks.

So let me get this straight here...you want us admins to step out and spend extra time on figuring out if a particular user is your mother, but you're not willing to give us the respect we deserve? How exactly do you suppose we're willing to give you any type of extra consideration here?

Yin and yang, darling. If you want something from us, it's only fair you show us some respect. We're not here for your particular satisfaction. There's only one admin here who's even bothered to step up and try to make amends for you...

Um, I never said that. I was wondering how you went about approving new user names. Anyway, I made this topic way before I voiced any opinion about you, so your argument is invalid. I never asked for special treatment, I merely asked a question. I am sorry that after last night you feel the need to hunt down my posts and reply to them as nastily as possible.
