I agree with everything the mods do. I for one would rather not see these boards fall. As much as some people don't care I do. Yeah yeah internet serious business. I enjoy most of the people here, with the exception of a few of the chat kiddies, and honestly the chat kiddies are the one who seem to be ruining this place.

EDIT: Honestly it seems like this place is slowly turning into 4chan. All I see when I open topics are retarded macros. It's getting old and annoying. 4chan is NOT something you want to become and sadly we will eventually become just like it.

Right, but I'm just saying, if anyone really was dying to see them, they could just ask Dante. You don't have to post pictures, you don't have to want pictures posted, but having it be a moddable offense on the board seems unnecessary when there are plenty of other avenues in which to get them.

According to what Morm posted I didn't break any rules either beyond the pictures I posted of Dei. I was 24 hour post banned for those ages ago and I haven't posted them since then, I fully understood why I was banned as what I did there was against the rules.. So apparently I have been put on post review for something that isn't against the rules here.

If thats not the case.. someone tell me why I am post reviewed and on 100 percent warn then if what Morm posted is true...

Edit - Apparently I'm not on post review anymore and my warn has been dropped. Regardless I would like to know the answer to why I was then if what has been said is the truth.

Edit 2 - Also, I ABSOLUTELY, do not keep those images on hand. The one or two times I have posted them were given to me via someone else. So don't come asking me for them please.

Edit 3 - After reading my post review, reason for it being taken down that is. Apparently you cant post gripes about the staff in ANYWHERE but this section of the forum, but you guys don't want to seem like you are ANYTHING OTHER THAN normal users as well. So if ANYONE insults a staffer.. are they gonna have the same shit done to them as was to me? Honestly, I am not getting most of this stuff.

This is just my interpretation but they want to be seen as normal users in other boards apart from this. This board is for voicing what you think of them as a moderator. Really not that hard of a concept to grasp.

They aren't normal users though.. they are fucking staff here. Also, these boards are NEVER used and are basically pointless. This topic is the most use this board has and probably ever will see. There arent enough fucking users for a board section like this. We dont have thousands of users, we have a couple hundred at most, with about 70-90 actually active.

If we were some absolutely massive board, this type of section would be useful, but we are small and it isnt.

The point of this board isn't to be used often. It's made for topics EXACTLY like this. Instead of making posts about them inside of topics on the general board you make them HERE. What a concept huh?

I am not the only person on here that has insulted.. or said something bad about a staffer either yet a couple of them are trying to make an example out of me I guess. First off, my head is not in Logik's ass. I for one want to see this place turn out a little more decently. Like I said this board isn't made to be the most used. It's here for those times that members feel the need to vent to/about a staff member. Is it REALLY that hard to grasp?

I don't have much to say about the Dante/Logik/404 thing. I barely ever see Dante post. He's not a bad guy though. I mean...I don't give a shit that he called me a whale who fucks dei (hay bebe) so why can't everyone else just look past it if he acts like a douche. If he doesn't obey rules or whatever, then fine, ban him as long as you're banning everyone else who breaks the same rules. Why is it such a big deal? And anyway, Dante goes for the people who seem to care that they are being made fun of or insulted. Even if you don't really care, if you act like it, then there ya go.

For example, when the Dei thing happened and I stuck up for her, Dante started calling me all sorts of names, even though we've spend the majority of our time online in the same fucking chat room for years now. The next day, I didn't come into the chat and yell at him for it, I just acted like it didn't happen, and so did he. We talk in the damn chat all the time. Just fucking ignore it.

Some people on this board don't see it, and that's fine because you haven't gone after them. Others do and notice the way you say things to people crosses the line of what's just an argument and what's flat-out being rude and detrimental conduct on the boards. This topic is hilarious, people are claiming dante takes this place to seriously and is easily offended. Yet they are just as offended as what he says to them and they reply in such a manner. Its completely circular and feeds itself. Keep the funny coming people.

If anyone gets upset over Dante telling them to get their head out of someone's ass, they're taking it too seriously. When anyone else insults someone, they usually just return it in fun. No big deal.

OK, here's the difference. When you and I get into it in the Lost thread, for example, its all in good fun and taking jabs at each other, like you said. But when you constantly take unprovoked shots at me that have absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand, it becomes detrimental to the flow of the conversation, and is definition trolling. So yes, you were breaking rules. And you were actually accommodated, we had every right under the rules put forth to just post-ban you for awhile and not have to put forth the extra work involved with reading and approving your posts.

I don't sit here at my desk and cry over the things you say to me or to the people that associate themselves with me, but yeah, it pisses me off when I see it all the time for no reason other than the fact that you don't like me. That's cool, I don't like you, either. We don't have to be the Partridge Family here, and if either of us says something undoubtedly stupid, then we deserve whatever flack we catch for it. But take that comment above, for example, about saying that Marcus is 'up my ass.' There's no reason for that. He speaks for himself and its just another opportunity on your part to take a shot at me for something I had no part in saying to you. That's the exact behavior the warns and post-preview were supposed to prevent. If it were Bad Penny or Dagger Jane or anybody else here at the forums getting this treatment from you, it most likely would have resulted in the same punishment had it been spotted or reported. It's just a bit more obvious to me when it's directed right at me in topics that I post in.

We're not Nazis here, I'd venture to guess that a vast majority of the users that post here have never seen a legitimate warn. The only times we really hand them out is to the few people that try to constantly push the envelope and see what they can get away with; who, for the most part, have understood their punishments and settled down. Other than that, we let everybody be, with the exception of a few NWS images being parsed into links or things like that.

I'm not offended by what Dante says. I just think Dante is a moron who should learn to argue if he's going to try and argue. Trying to insult someone is NOT arguing contrary to popular belief.

It's not about being offended by what Dante says, it's more about being annoyed that you have to be so scathing and troll-like all the time for no reason.
