All of the images that are solid colored are the ones that won't show up. It seems that Firefox will only display the most occurring color in the image. It also only happens when it's really a resized image. like some of your avatars. I've got the latest Firefox and Internet Explorer and Opera work just fine.

Happens to me all the time, but the images just don't load. I too would like a solution to this annoying problem.

What plugins do you guys have installed?

Kei-kun
Close Button, Download Statusbar, Down ThemAll, FlashGot, Linkification, Linky, Text Link, and VideoDownloader.

I just installed PeerGuardian, and while HTTP is blocked I get the same situation as IO at MySpace. Are you guys running that, by chance?
Kei-kun
Never used PeerGuardian and have tried disabling all extensions. No good.
Kei-kun
Well, looks like it got fixed with the latest update.
Kei-kun
Son of a bitch it's doing it again. Sorry for the triple post, felt like bumping it.
Kefka
I was gonna ask if you've tried it on myspace and then I checked the screenshot and lo and behold. I have the same problem. Good thing myspace sucks. >_>

but still, bump. I hate it.
Kei-kun
Anyone? Please?

Completely uninstall Firefox and I mean 100%.

1. Uninstall FF. Restart.

2. Make sure you get rid of laggering registry entries and to manually delete the 'Program Folder' folder. Restart.

3. Reinstall.

Thats a last ditch effort if you wanna wipe the slate. Make sure you remember your bookmarks and extensions.

You guys running ZoneAlarm by chance? It seems to fuck up images all over the internet.

At the end of number 2 before restart you need to delete your profile. Which is located someplace see this link. If you want to backup your bookmarks it wil be in your profile folder named bookmarks.html or so.
