Chess isn't really any harder than either of those if you can get acclimated to it, and it's got way more depth that checkers. Go, though, is really fun. I'm not hardly as good at it, though.


I don't have one. I came to the place where I was only on the computer to do research, and I've only recently started surfing the web again. I suppose Howling Calcifer would still work if I would, you know, sign on and what-not.

I'm buying Clubhouse Games for the DS soon so I'll just play people online using that.

Generally, immersing yourself is the quickest way to learn, man. Play a couple of games with someone and you'll learn quicker than any amount of reading can do for you. Reading comes later.

yeah. it's really easy to learn. castles move straight, bishops diagonal, knights like a tetris block, pawns 1 forward, cap diagonal, move 2 on opening, queens do a lot of shit, kings move 1
