Regal cuts the feed on RAW, Tazz and Adamle walk out on ECW, and Undertaker is stripped of the title on Smackdown. Something makes me think this is all a worked shoot for Vince returning and starting a huge new storyline.

I have to say I'm not too pleased with Teddy as the new GM though, if that's how they're going to do it. Ted DiBiase was on RAW last night too and he'd make a MUCH better GM.

Seems like they're really buffing the shit out of the SmackDown! brand. ECW get's jobbed. Raw gets ehhh. Hardy leaving Raw though... he was one of the more entertaining portions left.

Also: WTF accident with McMahon at the end? (I wasn't awake at the time, so i couldn't actually see it).

What a kooky fucking RAW that was.

My thoughts are Smackdown just became a hell of a lot more entertaining to watch with Hardy, Edge, HHH and Kennedy all on there. My guess is we'll be seeing a lot of fatal fourways for the WHC. Seems like they were promoting Kennedy to go after Edge first.

As for RAW...ehhh. They must be expecting Orton to come back here fairly shortly, and for Taker to return as well and jump to RAW. Mysterio and Punk are nice adds but my guess is we'll be seeing tons of Batista-Cena matches until our brains hurt.

ECW got trashed but it does allow the younger guys like Kofi Kingston and Morrison/Miz to be top dogs and improve even more. I think Kofi's the next big thing. He's already getting good reactions. My guess is we'll see Matt Hardy/Big Show matches a lot in the main event scene however.

And wow, JR to Smackdown. That doesn't make any sense to me, but it seems like SD's gonna be the better show now so it's OK.

Read JR's blog. Apparently he was close to retiring last night because he was really pissed off about getting switched (he apparently didn't know until it was broadcast, same with Cole, which is why their reactions looked genuine).

He decided to do it after all, but he doesn't like it and hopes he won't be on Smackdown for long.

Yeah, I saw that... I really hope he gets back to Raw soon... It just wont be the same.

They should've switched Foley and Lawler. I mean, JR and Foley will make a good team, but JR's the voice of RAW, straight up. Cole and Lawler were a team for a few years on Smackdown already so it'd be fine to have them together again over there, plus Cole's always been known as the voice of SD.

I just don't get why Vince didn't tell JR and Cole beforehand. Those guys have been part of your team for 10-15 years; they should have a say in what goes on. But then again I don't know what goes through Vince's head lately. First this dumb million dollar contest which is overshadowing storylines in a cheap attempt to get ratings (it didn't), and now another "death" angle on the anniversary of Benoit's death. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Wrestling has gotten a bit better this year, but Vince seems to be constantly finding ways to screw it up.

I hope they do something big with Kofi. He's got a great gimmick, a lot of talent and people really like him.

Wow, I sure called that one. Kofi's now the top champion on RAW, and Smackdown has two world titles.

This is gonna be interesting.

Really glad they put Kofi over, wasn't expecting him to have gold so soon. But its a good sign. Hopefully they do this more often from now on.

The wrestling on WWE has been crap anymore, and he is definitely a step in the right direction.

Also, I suspect by the next PPV, if not sooner, RAW will have the WWE/World title back on their show. Was surprised Batista or Cena didn't walk away with one last night actually.


Edit - If not sooner indeed. The bank has been opened, and CM Punk is the new World Champ haha. Nice move, nice move indeed. Maybe Vince is getting smart after all.

Last night was the best RAW of the year so far. With HHH off of the show, they can push some of the younger talent. Glad to see Punk and Kofi holding the top titles.

I still definitely want to watch Smackdown to check out all of the new storylines and feuds, but RAW just got a whole hell of a lot better. The Y2J & Cade vs. HBK & Kofi feud should be awesome, and it'll be interesting to see where Vince goes with having five WHC talents (Punk, Cena, JBL, Mysterio and Batista). Not to mention Orton and possibly Taker will be returning to RAW soon. And there's Kane as well.

Vince saying "I can't feel my legs" was one of the funniest performances I've ever seen.

It's funny that since Punk won the WHC, nobody gives a shit about what happened to Vince.
