This weekend my parents are going up to my grandmother's house. It's a five hour drive each way, and they aren't getting along to well. My dad's had a lot of stress lately, and I want to cook him something that'll be nice for when he gets back(I can't go with due to work). Problem is, I have no ideas. So, if anybody could give me something relatively simple to cook, that doesn't use a grill, I'd be most appreciative.

Omelettes are always good dad food. Throw his favorite ingredients in, maybe make some toast and such.

Dammit. Omelettes are the one simple food I can never do right. Thanks for the idea, though.

EDIT: Just realized it would probably be good to mention he has diabetes and high blood pressure.

Pasta is really easy.
