Way too early man, especially with that far ahead draft time. 29th at 11 am? Hmm I probably will be passed out drunk being that it will be my third day at college.

I just randomly picked on that. We'll figure it out in ~80 days.

C'mon, we still need at least one more person for the teams to be even.

I did a draft today in a public league...let me know what you guys think (I was picking 6th out of 10.)
QB - Matt Hasselbeck
WR - Reggie Wayne
WR - Plaxico Burress
WR - Donald Driver
RB - Willie Parker
RB - Laurence Maroney
TE - Dallas Clark
K - Sebastian Janikowski
DEF - Kansas City (I'm playing weekly matchups.)
Bench: Jamal Lewis, Jerricho Cotchery, Jake Delhomme, Ben Troupe, Kevan Barlow (handcuff for Willie Parker), Kevin Faulk (Handcuff for Laurence Maroney)

I think you've got yourself a good team there, especially if Hasselbeck can do what he did in 2005.
The Clown
Jul 25 2007, 01:41 PM
Haha, Hasselbeck's actually projected to have 205 or something fantasy points this year. More than both of my running backs individually. I don't know about all that, but I'll take it if it happens. I'm just worried about Jamal Lewis on my bye weeks. He was pretty piss-poor fantasy wise last year behind a much better line than Cleveland's.

No matter how good they were in college, rookie linemen almost always suck. Considering he's the left tackle, easily the most complicated position on the line, I don't see him havign a great rookie year.

ALright I'll sign up, later today though...I'm kind of busy at the moment.
I've never done one before so I'll have no clue what's going on...
Edit: Damnt I just realized we had two topics for this...I don'tk now what to do now, I think I'll have to do the other one, I said yes in that one first.

NIck Mangold is a center, not a left tackle. The left tackle has the toughest job on the line.

True enough. Even still, Mangold is an exception to the more general rule.

Sep 9 2007, 12:40 AM
I'm looking to upgrade my 2nd RB position. I'll trade anyone except Brees and Alexander. (If you make a worthwhile offer, I may even trade one of them.) Any takers?
Also, Wang, you've gotta stop fucking with the stat settings. It's hard to build a team if you don't know what positions will be worth a damn. QBs went from domination before the draft to standard and now to basically worthless, WRs went from third priority before the draft to incredibly needed, and RBs got nerfed from the start by making it 15 rushing yards to the point.
QBs are the most dramatic change. A 300 yard game went from being worth 20 fantasy points before the draft to 12 before week 1 and now to only 8.57. It really fucked me over, since I checked the lead settings before the draft and reached to get Brees and Rivers. The way the QB stats are set up now I could start Rex Grossman and Chad Pennington and only see a marginal change in points.
The Clown
Sep 18 2007, 12:31 PM
Heh, I have the third fewest points total of everyone in the league, and despite all this I've won both games so far and am third in the league.

Hard to win with your opponent scoring 178 points.

Tony Romo makes six turnovers and I still manage to win, holy shit.

I won by literally a fraction of a point. Nick Folk FTW.
Also, I'm glad I picked up Kurt Warner on waivers just in case he won out on the QB controversy. Now I don't even have to wait.
