Has anyone seen this movie? I hadn't heard of it until last night. After I saw it though, I must say I loved it!

For those of you who don't know what it is about it's basically a bunch of short films about falling in love with something in Paris; whether it be a person, your family, anything really. I'll admit, some of the stories sucked but some were amazing. There are a few big name directors (Wes Craven) and some (I think) big name French directors. Not to mention there's a few well known actors/actressess (Natalie Portman, Bob Hoskins, Elijah Wood, etc.)

It doesn't look bad. I might get around to seeing it.

If you see it, just remember it is NOT one continuous movie. It is 18 15-30minute movies.

It fell pretty flat for me. I only really loved 5 of the films and the rest just were either forgettable or completely cliche'd. I feel like few of the directors really used the whole PARIS thing at all, and the background was superfluous.

I dug a lot of it, but I agree with Luma.

This movie is kind of like a short story collection. Great to read one or two in a sitting, but if you read it all in one go, you aren't getting the optimal experience.

My favorite vignette was the one with Carol, the denver mail-carrier.

Yeah, I realized that. I doubt I'll even see this movie for another year (but I'll eventually get around to it).

Favorite bits were the Van Sant, Coen, and Tykwer segments, because they're the only ones I actually enjoyed pretty much.
