I'm getting it through the school, and they have a few options. I don't want some crazy suped up computer, but it'd be nice to have something that can work relatively fast and efficiently. I want to mostly use it for homework, music, video, and graphic design stuffs. These are the choices that the school offers. I really don't want to spend more than 1800-1900, seeing as I'm already going to be paying out of my ass for tuition, books, etc. Which one looks like a good match to you?

Sorry, my computer knowledge is terrible, and I tried asking my dad what to get (he works in the computer engineering dept. at UMASS), and he won't talk to me unless I get a PC.

Decide on a size, 13.3 inch or 15.4. I love my 13.3 inch and am glad I went with that instead of the 15.4

Once size is decided then go from there.

from there being:

This is probably white, if you get this I recommend getting a nice screen protector. Take care of it or keyboard could go brown [they may have fixed that though].

I've heard something along those lines before, though not sure when that update will occur.

Later I can make an Office torrent here.
