So basically, the 2Wire router we currently have keeps crapping out on us, so it's time for a new router. A router/modem combo would be nice, and it needs to be able to do PPPoE (so we can connect to the internet).

Thing is that this is a family router, and my dad wouldn't really like using 3rd party firmware and such (he's paranoid about downloading stuff from the internet). I won't be living at home much longer, but he'll still have to deal with it, so something that works out of the box would be best.

Seriously, help someone? Hell, just a plain good router would be fine, we can always get a proper modem to go with it.
